As a persons who investigates missing persons cases on the daily, it seems there are indefinite unsolved cases out there.
In actuality, the number of active missing persons cases, at least in the United States, has decreased year over year. In fact, 2020 saw the lowest number of missing persons since 1990. A positive trend that hopefully will continue.
So, I wondered…which states have the most missing persons? This number can be looked at a couple of different ways.
