Joyce Dyer was a chatty, outgoing, and friendly woman in 2014. At age 54, she was enjoying life in the Tacoma, Washington area. Her children, Jeremy and Melissa, were now adults, but Joyce would still call them and talk to them all the time. Joyce had several friends she would stay in touch with regularly too.

In April 2014, Joyce was just recovering from surgery. She was renting a room at a house in Fredericktown, which is located on the south side of Tacoma.

On April 4th, a friend of Joyce’s came over to her house. Joyce’s roommate was introduced to the man as David Lee. He wouldn’t stay long at the house, however, and he and Joyce would soon leave.

She didn’t take anything with her.

Joyce Dyer hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
