Orrin and Orson West had a rough start in life, but still kept the most beautiful smiles on their faces for everyone they met.

Orrin and Orson weren’t even born with those names, however. They were born Cincere and Classic, but their names would be changed when the West family adopted them in 2019.

Their biological mother, Ryan, had lost custody due to domestic violence in the home, and possible abuse of the children.

In 2020, the West family moved from an apartment in Bakersfield, California to a single-family home in California City, California.

This was an opportunity for more space for their children, which included two more adopted kids and two other biological children.

On December 21, 2020, Trezell West, the boy's adopted father, was outside in the backyard with the boys. Trezell was gathering firewood and the boys were playing. Trezell took a load of firewood into the house, and when he came back, he saw the boys were gone.

He also noticed the back gate was open. Orrin and Orson, at 3 and 4 years old, were curious boys, and Trezell immediately thought they must have gone out of the gate to explore the adjacent field.
