The Mysterious Disappearance of Trevor Nichols

Trevor grew up in the suburbs of Springfield, Ohio. Immediately after graduating high school, he enlisted in the army.

Trevor’s military career took him all over, including Afghanistan and Iraq. In May of 2017, Trevor returned home from a deployment in Iraq. Trevor was thrilled to be able to see his family, which included a 2-year-old son.

But everyone in Trevor’s light wasn’t exactly going as planned. He and his wife were separated and she was ready to file for divorce. Then, Trevor received news that he was going to be transferred from Fort Drum, New York to Fort Riley, Kansas.

Before the transfer date was to go into effect, on December 7, Trevor was granted leave. He planned on taking the train to Cleveland, Ohio where his family would pick him up, and from there, they’d return to their home in Tremont City.

On November 15, the military had his items shipped to Fort Riley so they’d be waiting for him when he arrived in a couple of weeks.

He headed off to the Amtrak station, and from there, Trevor vanished into thin air.
