20-year-old Angela Hammond was 4 months pregnant and engaged. On the night of April 4, 1991, Angela stopped to use a pay phone at 11:45 p.m. Angela called up her fiance, Rob, and let him know she wasn’t going to meet up with him as she was tired. She was going to head home and go to bed instead.
As they were talking, she noticed a truck driving around the empty parking lot and felt unsettled by it. She told Rob this and Rob stayed on the phone with her, until to his horror, he suddenly heard Angela scream, and the phone went dead.
No one would ever see or hear from Angela again.

Angela Hammond was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 9, 1971. Her parents- Chris and Marsha, soon decided to move 80 miles south to Clinton, Missouri, to be closer to Marsha’s parents. Shortly after moving to Clinton, they would have a little boy, making Angela a big sister.
