Pregnant Teen Vanishes in Broad Daylight: The Unsolved 2010 Disappearance of Janteyl Johnson

Janteyl Johnson was a fun and likable 15-year-old girl in 2010.

She was also a beautiful girl with a bright and contagious smile. Janteyl was known for spending lots of time doing her hair and the hair of her friends and family.

She had dreams of owning her own hair salon.

Somehow, Janteyl would become involved with a much older man. She was just barely 15 in late 2009 but was dating a 27-year-old. Much to her shock, she soon found herself pregnant.

Janteyl came to terms with this news, and after speaking to her parents, she decided to keep the baby with their support.

It couldn’t have been easy for anyone in the family, but they were very close-knit and determined to work through it together.

One cold day in February, Janteyl’s older Preniss Jr. drove Janteyl to school. She was a sophomore at Glasgow High School and was determined to keep up with schooling even while pregnant.

Around noon, Janteyl called her mom to tell her she was leaving school and walking home as she wasn’t feeling well. Her mom told her that was fine and to get some rest. Janteyl had about a mile walk home.
