Many people visit Denali National Park each year. Some hike the trails and take in the beauty, and others plan to camp and fish and actually immerse themselves in Denali.

Nathan was one of the latter. He planned to camp, fish, and document his experience in his diary.

This wasn’t going to be a short visit either. He would be dropped off at the park on June 13, 2020, and was planning on returning home on September 15, three months later.

But Nathan never returned home.

A search of the area turned up his abandoned campsite, and his diary was found under his collapsed tent near Carey Lake. His last diary entry stated he was going to go in search of water.

It is believed Nathan succumbed to the elements or had an accident somewhere within the Denali National Park.

Nathan is described as a Caucasian male, standing 5'10" and weighing around 190 pounds when he was last seen in June 2020. He has blondish-red hair and blue eyes. Nathan was 40 years old then, and would today, be 44.

Anyone who may have any information on the whereabouts of Nathan Campbell is asked to contact either the Denali National Park and Preserve Dispatch at 907–683–9555, or the Alaska State Troopers at 907–352–5401.
