Brandon was last seen in Battle Creek, Michigan on June 20, 2005. He was involved in a car accident on Interstate 94, just east of Galesburg Exit 88 and just across the Kalamazoo County line at 1:45 a.m.

Brandon had a misdemeanor warrant out for his arrest and he had been drinking. He fled from the accident scene and ran into the woods, scaling a fence onto the property of Fort Custer.

He has never been heard from again and an extensive search of the area turned up no sign of him. The driver of the vehicle also fled, but he was apprehended not long after.

Brandon left behind an infant daughter. Although the circumstances of his disappearance are unclear, his mother believes he ran off into the woods where he died.

In recent years, a class at Olivet College began studying cold cases and Brandon Anderson’s case was one of them. Students spent hours conducting physical searches of the area for any sign of Brandon, but nothing was found.

He is described as a black male, 6'0" and 180 pounds when he was last seen in 2005. He was 21 years old then, and would today be 40.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Battle Creek Police Department at 269–966–3363.
