Jose worked as a self-employed tow truck driver in 2002. He was 33 years old and living with his wife and children in West New York, New Jersey.

On the morning of June 24, 2003, Jose left work as usual, hopping into his tow truck for the day and heading out.

Around 11:45 a.m., Jose called his wife to check in, something he often did. That conversation would be the last time Jose talked to his wife.

Jose Concepcion never came home.

His tow truck, a black 2000 Chevrolet with red decals and the New Jersey license plate number X8823G, is also missing.

Jose left behind a wife and two kids, and had a seemingly happy home life. He adored his family and was doing well in his tow truck business.

West New York, New Jersey sits on the eastern border of the state, on the banks of the Hudson River. West New York has a population of just over 59,000 residents, and is a pretty busy place.

Jose is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5'9" and weighing around 230 pounds when he was last seen in 2002. He was 33 years old then, and would today be 55 years old.

Jose has brown hair and brown eyes, and has a scar on his forehead.
