Michael Taus left for a date on June 18, 2010, and was never seen again.
This was a blind date, with a woman he had met online. When friends and family realized he was missing, they noticed his beloved Pit Bull, Romeo, was also missing as were his food and water dishes.
A week later, authorities found Michael’s black 2004 Volkswagen Jetta in Elmont, New York with the engine still running. There was no sign of him at the scene and no indications of foul play.
There were just zero clues at all.
But why was his vehicle engine running? A full week after he vanished?
Michael Taus is described as a Caucasian male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He stands 6'3" and weighed 190 pounds when he was last seen on June 18, 2010.
He was 25 years old then, and would today be 39 years old.
