Missing: The Disappearance of Susan Lacee Fast Eagle & Verdell Brown Bull

Susan Lacey Fast Eagle is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and lives in South Dakota. Verdell Brown Bull, of Kyle, South Dakota, is also an Oglala Sioux Tribe member.

On May 3, 2021, Susan Lacey Fast Eagle wasn’t feeling well. Her husband would leave to pick up some food for them, and when he returned, his wife was gone.

Someone spotted Susan that day near Memorial Park with Verdell Brown Bull.

Why had Susan left the house when she wasn’t feeling well? We don’t know.

What was the nature of the relationship she had with Verdell? We also don’t know.

Susan would be officially reported as missing on May 13, ten days after she was last seen.

It struck me that they disappeared three years ago almost exactly, and there have been no clues. There needs to be more media coverage.

Susan Lacey Fast Eagle’s family has been working with local organizations to raise awareness and help bring in some clues, but not much has happened.

It’s time we share their stories- as brief as they are- and give these two missing persons some attention. It’s time we bring home Susan Lace Fast Eagle and Verdell Brown Bull.
